Weatherglass is free, has no ads, no subscriptions, no accounts, and no analytics or tracking. We do not run any server that receives your data. Almost everything the app does happens on your device, offline.
Home positions you pin (a place name or a GPS point) are saved in your device's local storage so the app remembers them between sessions. They stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are removed when you delete the pin or clear the app's data.
We do not collect, store, or have access to this information.
The app asks for your location only when you choose to use it — when you tap to pin your current position, or to fetch weather or official warnings for where you are. When you do:

When you request live weather or warnings, the app contacts the relevant official or open weather service directly from your device. Those services receive the coordinates of your request and are governed by their own privacy terms:
We share nothing with them beyond the request you initiate.
No advertising. No sale or sharing of personal data. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. No user accounts. No background location. No collection of your data on any server we operate.
The app collects no personal data, so it is safe for all ages. It is not directed at children in a way that collects information from them.
